    You can try doing one of those projects with an exploding volcano. It’s a really simple chemical reaction that causes “lava” to flow out of the volcano. There are several sites on the web that can instruct you how to build one of these. The major ingredients are vinegar and when you add the baking soda, the reaction (explosion) occurs.
